"Follow God's Footsteps" 👣✨✝️✨📜💕

These lyrics from the song, "Show Me Your Ways," by The Heritage Singers were on my mind this morning.  And they also connect to the lyrics that I received yesterday from the song, "Don't Dream It's Over," by Crowded House.

"You'll never see the end of the road while you're travelling with Me." 💖🎶

God is using us as His remnant warriors to chart out this uncharted path, with Jesus as our Captain.  Jesus is the only One who is worthy to open up the scrolls. 📜🗝️✨ But as we continue to lean upon Him, and not on our own understanding, He gradually shows us more and more of His heavenly blueprints.

Psalm 85:9-13

"Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.  Mercy and truth have met together.  Righteousness and peace have kissed.  Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is good.  And our land will yield its increase.  Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway."

We are following our Heavenly Father's footsteps. 👣 We are like soldiers following their Captain's marching orders.  We don't look back.  And we don't walk ahead of Him, or we will lose our sense of direction.  We don't want to wander from the path that He has prepared for us to walk.  So we move together, in step with the Holy Spirit leading the way.  And we follow His promptings to, "Walk this Way."

The Holy Spirit is our compass, and He points us in the right direction. ✨✝️✨ We follow His signposts, promptings, and directions, just like how campers follow the signs posted along the nature trails to navigate where they are going.  All we must do is truly trust in God to lead us in the right direction.  He will instruct us and teach us the way we should go.  He will counsel us with His loving eyes upon us. (Psalm 32:8)

Jesus reveals the secrets of His heart to us, the more we draw closer to Him.

"If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me." (Jeremiah 29:13) 💖

"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2) ✨

We are children of God, and heirs of the Promise.  But while we are still here on this Earth, we only see things in part.  God is the only One who sees the entire picture.

Yet when we lean upon Jesus, and draw closer to Him, He sharpens our understanding.  And He begins to show us things not only related to this Earth, but also things about Heaven.

"Now we see through a glass dimly.  But very soon we will see Jesus face to face." (1 Corinthians 13:12)


Isaiah 61:1-3 💖🔥🕊️

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor.  He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.  To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God. To comfort all who mourn.  To console those who mourn in Zion.  To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning.  The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.  That they may be called trees of righteousness.  The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” 

We are God's ambassadors on this Earth.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus.  And we carry His heart. 💖🔥🕊️ All of us have a part to play in His story.  We are the Body of Christ.  Moving together in unison, with the power of the Holy Spirit.

God activates His giftings in us to serve, edify, comfort, and encourage one another.  He equips us for ministry.  It is all part of the great commission.  The great Harvest of souls is now here!  And Jesus wants us to work in the fields.  He wants to use us as His yielded vessels.  All for His glory!

"The Lord is Near to the Broken Hearted" ❤️ For Those Experiencing Loss. 🙏

  Today I feel led to share a difficult part of my journey.  I feel led to share some of my experiences related to the loss of a loved one.  Hoping that it will also help others to heal, who are going through similar things. The very first time I experienced grief over the passing of a loved one was in the early 1990s, when my dear Aunt Audrey passed away.  She was like a grandmother to me growing up.  She was the neighbour across the street, who gave me the vintage heart-shaped music box that I mentioned in one of my other posts.  Both of my biological grandmothers lived in Manitoba, so I really didn't get to know them as much.  But I spent a lot of time with my Aunt Audrey, and her sweet little beagle dog, Jake. "Bring Forth the Kingdom of God" 💖🔥🕊️🎶🦋👑

  The Kingdom of God is within us.  It is in our minds and in our hearts.  And our bodies are God's temple.  Jesus dwells inside of our hearts, through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. 💖🔥🕊️ We hold this treasure inside of our hearts, it comes from God, and is not from us.  We are simply His humble vessels, that He chose to use for such a time as this, to carry His glory. Jesus often used parables describe the Kingdom of God.  Our Heavenly Father loves to tell His children stories.  Stories such as the parable of the mustard seed.  The parable of the dragnet.  And also, "The Pearl of Great Price." (Matthew 13:45-46 💖) “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."
