In today's modern world, there seems to be so many distractions and things clamouring for our attention. There are the everyday responsibilities, and concerns of this life, that sometimes overwhelm us or weigh us down.

Then there are the demands, expectations, and negative attitudes of the people around us. Or the noise levels of the world in general, that can sometimes be very annoying and difficult to handle at times.

This often happens when we long for quiet moments of solitude. And when we want to spend more quality time with God, in His presence. Far away from everything else that distracts us.

We want to escape to that secret place in our hearts, where it is only us and God. Where we can hear His voice even more clearly. Unfortunately, the noise and distractions from the outer environment can sometimes drown out that still small voice inside of us.

The enemy often uses the distractions, chaos, and "noise" of this world, to try and take our focus off of God. And by doing so, he tries to take away our inner peace.

Sometimes we are able to shut out the noise from the world. But then there are other times where it is just not easy. Whenever this happens, we must simply escape the environment, and go for a walk, or go somewhere else that's quiet. In order to recollect our thoughts, and get some reprieve from all of the chaos and drama surrounding us. Even Jesus had to escape from the crowds from time to time, in order to spend some time alone with the Father.

I often go for nature walks, whenever I find that life becomes too unbearable at home. Or when I want to spend more quality time with God. I actually enjoy the solitude, and prefer to be on my own rather than in large groups. I've always been a thoughtful introvert by nature. So this is what works for me personally. I enjoy these walks very much, as I walk conversing with God, and taking in all of the beauty of His creation.

God speaks to us in so many different ways throughout the day. We just have to have the eyes and ears to appreciate those precious moments. And an open heart to eagerly receive the revelations and insights that He gives to us. 💖🔥🕊️

All it requires is being receptive to His leading, promptings, and instruction. And pondering deeply what He has placed in our hearts and minds. By spending more time with Jesus, we begin to recognize and hear His voice even more clearly. And it becomes effortless, and just flows and happens naturally, as the Holy Spirit leads and orchestrates the events and experiences in our lives.

God knows how to reach every single one of us. He made us after all! So He knows how we're wired for learning. He knows our learning styles, and what makes us tick. He is well acquainted with our interests, experiences, stories, and the unique talents that He has given to us.

Social Media:

Social media can be both a blessing, and also a distraction. It is a good way for us to share our stories and testimonies, and to have fellowship with one another. And it is also a good way to share the messages that God has given to us.

However we must be careful that it doesn't become a distraction or an idol. We must put God first, and allow Him to teach us. Then use social media as a tool to witness, share our testimonies, have fellowship with one another, and evangelize.

Moderation is the key, when it comes to all kinds of things. Including social media. We should be relying on God alone to direct our paths.
